DigiCulture during ICALT 2019

Diana Andone, project coordinator, together with Radu Vasiu, both from the Politehnica University of Timisoara, participated in the 19th IEEE ICALT 2019 (International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies), in Maceió, Brasil, during 13-18 July 2019.

IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow through its more than 423,000 members in over 160 countries, and its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. IEEE is the trusted “voice” for engineering, computing, and technology information around the globe.

ICALT (International Conference of Advanced Learning Technologies) is an annual international conference on Advanced Learning Technologies and Technology-enhanced Learning organized by the IEEE Computer Society and the IEEE Technical Committee on Learning Technology. Diana and Radu held meetings with teachers, deans and rectors of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Center for Exact Sciences and Technology, (UNIRIO ) Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, (Puc-RIO), Federal University of Alagoas, Institute of Computing, Maceio, (UFAL), where they presented, among others, the DigiCulture project. In the Center for Exact Sciences and Technology, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO ) they held a workshop about developing virtual mobilities and digital competencies.
