The first day of EDEN 2020 – the first entirely virtual conference dedicated to digital education and artificial intelligence – had presentations for dozens of selected academic papers, five workshops, three world-class keynote speakers, and social events. The Politehnica University of Timisoara organized the event through the ID / IFR and e-Learning Center and the International Association EDEN.

One of the most appreciated workshops of the first conference day was the DigiCulture online workshop, where Diana Andone, Antonella Poce, Mairead Nic Giolla Mhichíl, Chiara Zuanni and Hendrik Knoche spoke about the future of jobs and skills in the creative industries.

They also talked about the research and results of the project: 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 – 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 – 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮̆ 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗮̆.

The conference’s last day had presentations for dozens of selected academic papers, three workshops, and two keynote speakers of world size.

On the third day of the conference, Dr. Diana Andone presented the DigiCulture project and its objectives, the 13 free online courses developed by the project partners, as well as the Digital Culture Open Badges for Digital Skills granted for course completion. The participants virtually applauded the presentation, showing their interest through a series of questions in the Q&A area of the platform.

278 participants from 40 countries on four continents have followed the conference presentations and workshops with great interest.
