DigiCulture (Improving the Digital Competences and Social Inclusion of Adults in Creative Industries) created a sustainable and accessible online course focused on openness and inclusivity and aimed at low digital skilled adult learners in the creative industries (CI) from Romania, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Lithuania, UK and Ireland.

Cursurile web DigiCulture și evaluarea acestora pe platforma UniCampus au fost prezentate online, pe 15 octombrie 2021, de către ș.l. dr. Silviu Vert (Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara) la ICIST 2021.În cadrul lucrării ↪„Evaluarea inițială a uzabilității cursurilor DigiCulture pe UniCampus”, dr. Vert a prezentat proiectul DigiCulture Erasmus+ Project, cele 13 cursuri web dezvoltate și evaluarea inițială a uzabilității cursurilor DigiCulture, realizate ca un proiect capstone în cadrul programului de masterat Tehnologii Multimedia de la Universitatea Politehnica Timișoara. Prezentarea a inclus raportarea principalelor constatări ale echipei de cercetare, fiind formulate câteva recomandări pentru îmbunătățirea uzabilității platformei.________________________The DigiCulture web courses and their evaluation on the UniCampus platform were presented online, on October 15 2021, by lect. dr. Vert presented the Digital Culture project, the 13 web courses developed and the initial usability evaluation of the DigiCulture courses, realized as a capstone project within the Multimedia Technologies master’s degree program at the Politehnica University of Timișoara (Romania). About the project

DigitalCulture – Improving the Digital Competences and Social Inclusion of Adults in Creative Industries

The project aims to create a sustainable and efficient education program dedicated to adult learners with low digital skills and low-qualified adults involved in the creative industries sector from Romania, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Lithuania, UK and Ireland. The main outcomes include the Digital Skills and Social Inclusion for Creative Industries MOOC Courses available online and through blended learning, the Integrated Virtual Learning Hub including an innovative mobile app aimed at low-skilled and at-risk adults, the Digital Skills e-assessment tool and Open Badges for Digital Skills. Together they will provide important new opportunities for low-skilled adults to access knowledge, gain new digital skills and inter-cultural competences and improve their chances of finding employment or performing better in their current employment.
