Hendrik Knoche
Hendrik Knoche is an associate professor at . He holds a Diploma/master (Uof Hamburg 1999) and PhD (University College London 2011) both in computer science.He spent his post-doc at the Media and Design Laboratory at EPFL where he worked on an ICT4D project that aimed at providing agricultural peer information and peer learning through smart phones to illiterate farmers in India and developed and taught a mobile interaction design course. His current research focuses on A) prediction and evaluation of student learning and retention and B) games and interfaces for stroke patients for rehabilitation. He’s interested in adaptive interfaces that model multi-modal usage and user data including e.g. physiological data and eye-tracking to this end.
