{"id":4163,"date":"2021-07-28T01:03:02","date_gmt":"2021-07-27T22:03:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digiculture.eu\/?p=4163"},"modified":"2021-07-28T01:03:57","modified_gmt":"2021-07-27T22:03:57","slug":"digiculture-multiplier-event-in-lithuania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/digiculture.eu\/ga\/digiculture-multiplier-event-in-lithuania\/","title":{"rendered":"DigiCulture Multiplier Event in Lithuania"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the 15<sup>th<\/sup> of July a multiplier event for the project \u201cDigiCulture \u2013 Improving the Digital Competences and Social Inclusion of adults in Creative Industries\u201d took place in Lithuania and brought together almost 30 representatives from different cultural fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal of the Digiculture project is to create a sustainable and effective educational program dedicated to adult learners with low digital skills and low-qualified adults involved in the creative industries sector. The event featured the launch of the project website digiculture.eu and the development of free online learning courses to improve digital competences and social inclusion in the creative industries and culture sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event also received three, very significant, presentations. Director Arvydas Barysas presented the film &#8220;Kaunas &#8211; European Capital of Culture 2022&#8221;, Lukas Paulauskas, representative of the Department of Virtual and Augmented Reality Technologies of Kaunas University of Technology, read a report on Vytautas the Great War Museum&#8217;s informative virtual reality game &#8220;Flight over the Atlantic&#8221;. NDMA member Gytis Cibulskis reviewed the possibilities of virtual and augmented reality in creation and collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, participants actively participated in discussions, asked and answered questions.
