It is to be considered as a theoretical basis for the E+ KA204\nDigiCulture project partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ndocument tried to answer the following questions: 1. Which learning approaches\ncan enhance the development of digital competences in CI Adult employees? 2.\nWhich digital competencies can support the social inclusion of adults involved\nin the CI sector? 3. How should adult learners\u2019 digital competences be\ndeveloped to ensure the real improvement of CI employees\u2019 career opportunities\nand social inclusion? 4. Which teachers and educators\u2019 practices can best promote\nlearners&#8217; digital and transverse skills development?<br>\n45 relevant papers have been identified and partners analyzed them through a\ncomparative system. As far as the type of educational programme was concerned,\nthe papers analysed are mainly from formal educational contexts. The small\nnumber of educational experiments in informal contexts reveals the limited\nwillingness and\/or possibility of informal educational institutions to\nexperiment and disseminate research results in the field.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As regards the teaching strategies e<em>-learning<\/em>&nbsp;und&nbsp;<em>critical\nthinking methodologies<\/em>&nbsp;are the most common teaching strategies\nused.&nbsp;<em>E-learning activities<\/em>&nbsp;and Inquiry-based learning approach\nare always linked to&nbsp;<em>Information and data literacy<\/em>&nbsp;dimension.&nbsp;<em>Collaborative<\/em>&nbsp;activities\nare presented in relation to&nbsp;<em>Managing data, information and digital\ncontent<\/em>&nbsp;skill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nlearning materials used in the experimental education activities analysed are\nin line with the Digital competences promotion: digital media, website and\nsoftware, Open classroom and Online Chat software. MOOCs were used or managing\ndigital data, evaluating them and collaborating with other learners during the\nexperience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The need to design and realise educational paths for digital skill promotion addressed to workers in the CI sector is still fundamental. Through specific actions and initial education experimentation, the DigiCulture project intends to develop a learning path addressed to the CI education sector. The research was implemented by using two data collection\ntools created for this project and involved about 170 stakeholders, workers and\nprofessionals in the field of Creative and Cultural Industries from 7 different\nEuropean countries: Austria, Italy, UK, Ireland, Romania, Lithuania and\nDenmark. The two data collection tools, the survey and the interview, were used\nto explore the following fields of investigation: the most required digital\nskills by CI professionals; the most effective teaching and learning tools and\nmethods for employees\u2019 digital skills and transverse skills promotion; the most\neffective learning methodology to be used in online courses, such as MOOC, for\nadults with low digital skills. The document shows separately the results of\nthe research carried out through surveys and interviews. The evaluation tools\nare made available in this document. At the end of the document, the\nconclusions of the research conducted are presented. The results will be used\nwithin the DigiCulture project to create an online course for adult professionals\nin the CI sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nresearch shows that all the 5 dimensions of Digital competences defined by\nDigComp 2.1 are generally considered essential by the CI professionals and\nstakeholder: 1. Information and data literacy 2. Digital communication and\ncollaboration 3. Digital content creation 4. Digital safety 5. Digital\nproblem-solving. The research results underline the importance of promoting\ndigital competencies together with creative skills, an important domain for the\nfield of work under consideration. In the next 10 years, digital skills should\nbe considered to be much more important than now: Digital Communication and\nCollaboration, Digital Safety and Digital Communication and Collaboration\nskills in particular. As regards digital skills to be improved in CI employees,\nthe Information and digital literacy dimensions are considered by respondents\nto be the one which should be promoted most: in particular, Managing and\nEvaluating data, information and digital content. As regards Digital Safety,\nProtecting personal data and privacy skills should be improved in ad hoc\nlearning path. Regarding the Digital content creation dimension, employees in\nthe CI field should be more trained in Developing digital content and\nIntegrating and re-elaborating digital content skills. As regards the Digital\nProblem Solving dimension, Creatively using digital technologies is defined to\nbe developed in CI employees by most of the research participants.<\/p>\n\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/digiculture.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/FINAL-VERSION_O1.2-European-and-National-research-on-digital-competence-validation_DCU-Feedback.pdf\"  class=\"shortcode-button button border-box button-small size-small style-accent\" >Download the full document O1.2<\/a>\n\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/digiculture.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/FINAL-VERSION_O1.2-European-and-National-research-on-digital-competence-validation_DCU-Feedback.pdf\" class=\"pdfemb-viewer\" style=\"\" data-width=\"max\" data-height=\"max\"  data-toolbar=\"bottom\" data-toolbar-fixed=\"off\">FINAL-VERSION_O1.2-European-and-National-research-on-digital-competence-validation_DCU-Feedback<br\/><\/a>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summary O1.3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nach der Definition von&nbsp;<em>Conceptual\nFramework of Digital Competences for Culture and Creative Industries<\/em>&nbsp;(O1.1)\nand the&nbsp;<em>Europ\u00e4ische und nationale Forschung zur digitalen Kompetenzvalidierung<\/em>&nbsp;(O1.2)\nreport, the present document entitled&nbsp;<em>Guidelines for Digital\nCompetences for Creative Industries<\/em>&nbsp;(O1.3) has been realized in order\nto provide the DigiCulture project with a theoretical foundation from which to\ndevelop the DigiCulture Course (O3) in the VLH (O2). A comparison between\nthe&nbsp;<em>Conceptual Framework of Digital Competences for Culture and\nCreative Industries<\/em>&nbsp;(O1.1) and current practices are undertaken,\nleading to the identification of gaps to be addressed (O1.2). This comparison\ntakes into consideration the most needed digital skills in the CI sector as\nidentified by national and international stakeholders from the CI sector\nitself. Moreover, a comparison between tools\/groups of tools and the\nDigiCulture Syllabus was also undertaken, to focus on contents, abilities and\nuse cases for the promotion of Digital competences and abilities in CI\nemployees through the DigiCulture MOOC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting from the general framework\n\u201cDigComp 2.1:&nbsp;<em>The Digital Competence Framework for Citizens\u201d&nbsp;<\/em>(Carretero\net al., 2017), the project partners focused their attention on the five digital\ncompetency dimensions described in the framework:&nbsp;1.&nbsp; Information and\ndata literacy 2. Communication and collaboration 3. Digital content creation\n4.&nbsp; Safety 5. Problem-solving.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the usefulness of the DigiComp 2.1 framework, it does not provide specific directions regarding the role of these skills in the CI sector (which is the focus of the DigiCulture project). For this reason, further research was conducted in order to understand how the five general digital competency dimensions, described in the DigiComp 2.1 framework, could be better contextualized and understood in the CI sector. This research consisted of a systematic literature review (O.1.1), and quantitative surveys (n=148) and interviews (n=21) conducted with a sample of stakeholders from the CI sector (O1.2).
